The questions that cannot be skipped
Chest pain, stroke signs, trouble breathing, a seizure, a sudden severe headache, new weakness, and a sugar concern each have their own path on SOSTRIAGE™ by CAREPOI®. The questions are fixed. A worrying answer raises the pace. It does not fall again because a later sentence sounded calmer.
01
Chest pain and the heart
When the pain started, and whether it spreads to the arm, jaw, or back. Sudden severe pain is treated as dangerous. The caller is not reassured into staying home by the guide. A clinician decides the next step.
02
Stroke signs and new weakness
Face, arm, speech, balance, eyes, and when the person was last known to be well. A positive sign raises the pace. An unknown sign does too, because an unclear screen is not a clear one. A second look can add concern. It cannot, by itself, clear someone to stay at home. A new loss of function is handed to a clinician.
03
Breathing, seizure, headache, sugar
Difficulty breathing, especially the work of breathing in a child. A seizure now or just finished, with awake and breathing checked again. A sudden or severe headache. Diabetes or a sugar concern, using a home meter only when the caller already has one. A missing meter is not written as zero.
04
The same path for every member
An insurer or a hospital gets the same clinical meaning in Norwegian, English, and Greek. The clinician sees why the path opened and can take the case onto their own judgement. The path sets the questions. It does not outrank the person who signs.
SOSTRIAGE™
The care paths
Every concern has a path. A clinician still signs.
